In the past, I would actually hold off my beginner Pokemon's evolution for quite a while, knowing that it would be learning move powerful moves quicker, plus being confident enough to win the battles that I'd be in with the team I had regardless. Not so much now, since even some beginner Pokemon tend to learn new moves on the original evolution level, and since I think the story modes have actually gotten tougher in recent games.
Still, it's cool seeing your first evolve, and you did a great job of creating that excitement and confidence that comes with a Pokemon's evolution for the Pokemon and Trainer. Plus, I really like the colors and the background with this one. Great work all around!
I apologize for late reply! I think it's really neat that we can choose if we want our Pokemon to evolve or not. Not just that it gives gamers a freedom to train their Pokemon how they want it to, but that totally brings the uniqueness to each Pokemon. ^_^ So even it's a game, there won't be any exact same Pokemon with same statistics and moves!
Anyway I'm feeling like I'm getting off track, so thanks! Glad you like it. (:
It's cool. I agree with what you're saying about having the choice of wanting a Pokemon to evolve, too. As a trainer, you're really given a lot of avenues to put together a Pokemon team that fits what it is that you want to do, and that can make the experience unique to everyone that plays it. And it's the ability to battle and interact with others that enables you to connect more with the Pokemon you're using.
I actually enjoy conversations like this, so it's no problem. You're very welcome!
